On October 8, 2017, the Tubbs Fire burned through much of the Fountaingrove AVA. While more than half of our vineyards were in the fire zone, we can now report that at least 90 to 95% of our vines survived, often acting as firebreaks to save nearby structures. Unfortunately, many of our growers did lose homes, barns and equipment, but are now in the process of rebuilding and replacing. The 2017 harvest was well along when the fire hit, and we anticipate a high quality 2017 vintage. #SonomaStrong
